The Arise 1000 is a low-air-loss mattress system.. It supports weights up to 1,000 lbs and is available in fixed or adjustable width and length configurations.

The system includes low air loss and pulsation functions, a power interruption alarm, a patient position sensor (Fowler Boost), and a low-friction, low-shear cover.

The Joerns Arise 1000 EX includes three operating modes:

• Autofirm – Sets the mattress to maximum firmness for transfers and repositioning

• Therapy – Provides continuous pressure redistribution

• Pulsate – Alternates air pressure in timed cycles
