Protekt Aire 8900 Pump Unit – Low Air Loss, Alternating Pressure and Pulsation
The control unit of the Protekt® Aire 8900 by Proactive Medical is designed for optimal performance and user convenience. It features a high airflow dual compressor pump that delivers 18 liters per minute, providing three therapeutic modes: low air loss, alternating pressure, and pulsation. Users can customize therapy with adjustable alternating pressure cycles (10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 minutes) and pulsation cycle times (10-30 minutes).
The control unit includes an Auto-Seat feature that automatically equalizes pressure to the center cells in an inclined position, along with an auto firm mode for quick inflation and a static mode with auto-recovery for enhanced support during egress or ingress. Safety is prioritized with audible and visual alarms for low pressure, power failure, and service needs. The control unit also offers on-demand side air bolsters, a CPR twist valve for rapid deflation, and a user-friendly interface for ease of operation.
